Tomorrow’s Tape: Heavy on the Earnings

No major economic reports on the docket, so the focus will likely be earnings (it’s a heavy calendar), or possibly Germany and that Moody’s note. Apple reports earnings, but they come after the bell; traders will have to find something to hang their hat on during the day.

Economics:

Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke’s speaking at 8:45 a.m. ET; however, the topic is early-childhood education. Don’t think QE3′s really germane there.

Markit Flash PMI (9:00)

May FHFA home prices (10:00): seen rising 0.3% after gaining 0.8% in April

Richmond Fed manufacturing survey (10:00)

In Europe, the German and Spanish finance ministers are meeting in Berlin. Wouldn’t expect much, but you never know.

Also, flash PMI’s released on France, Germany, and the euro-zone.
